National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is a Special Health Authority in the UK. They are dedicated to saving and improving lives through the management of organ transplantation in the UK, supply of blood and organs to hospitals in England and North Wales, and promoting blood, tissue and organ donation to the public.

The goal was to create UX/UI for a new donor referral application to replace a legacy paper system that saves 3K+ lives a year. The system allows specialized nurses to capture essential information about donor patients for submission into a national donor database. Ease-of-use, intuitive controls, conflict tracking, and speed of data were key components of the application.
